Job Description for Business Services – Product Specialist and Deposit Development

This position is an important part of the success of our bank supporting, retaining and expanding existing relationships with businesses and organizations and developing new relationships. There are two main responsibilities. The primary responsibility will be knowing all details and features of each product and how they work, complete product installation and training, provide customer support and troubleshooting, learning new products/services and developing procedures for them, contacting businesses that are referred to you, and call on existing business customer to introduce and educate them on business products and services they may not be using. The secondary responsibility is prospect calling on businesses that do not currently bank with us to develop relationships and educate them on the benefits of banking with PSB&T.
This position works with businesses, bank employees in different branches, operation employees and lenders. A typical week will have you out of the bank working with businesses to install and train on services, review services they are using to ensure they are aware of the different features, and review how they are using the services. In the branch you will be answering telephone calls to answer questions or assist in resolving an issue, completing documentation for new services, and calling customers to follow-up or set up new appointments.
A bank cell phone is provided to communicate with customers.
When traveling, you have access to bank pool vehicles to reserve when traveling.
