Prairie State Bank & Trust completed 2012 with solid growth in deposits, loans and capital—all continuing to support the bank’s strong financial condition.  Your loans and deposits helped us grow to over $700 million in assets.  Furthermore, we continue to be a Five-Star-Rated bank*, and a top performer** as illustrated by FDIC national statistics.

Above and Beyond Customer Service: We expect our employees to deliver outstanding customer service.  We continue to enhance our hiring process and expand our training programs to assure a highly skilled staff focused on meeting your financial needs.  We continually test our staff’s customer-service skills through both internal evaluation and our Mystery Shopping Program, designed to evaluate our readiness when faced with challenging, “real world” customer-service issues.  We take great pride in rewarding employees who provide a level of service well above what you would expect to receive at any other financial institution.

New Facilities:  To better serve the needs of our growing customer base, we are breaking ground this spring on a full-service banking facility on West Wabash Avenue in Springfield.  We are also in the final stages of land acquisition to build a full-service banking facility in Bloomington, to be completed in early 2014.  These two projects follow upon the 2012 opening of our newly constructed Long Creek banking facility, serving our customers in Decatur/Mt. Zion, and our new Springfield Operations Center, which provides for an expanded customer-service call center, training facilities and meeting space.  For your further convenience, we added new ATMs in both Mattoon and Girard.
