Not only do we enjoy seeing new faces being added to the Prairie State Bank & Trust family, but we LOVE familiar faces when they assume new roles within the organization. Congratulations go out to Christina Benson as she enters her new position as Mortgage Loan Officer for Savoy. For those of you who don’t already know Christina, take a moment to read our interview with her below and get to know her!
PSB&T: How would your spouse/friends/family describe you?
CB: The people closest to me would probably describe me as talkative and happy.
PSB&T: What made you choose to join the Prairie State Bank & Trust team?
CB: The local bank culture and the desire to service customers on an individual level led me to Prairie State Bank & Trust in 2019.
PSB&T: What's the best place you have traveled to?
CB: I traveled to Spain in High School, which is by far the most entertaining destination I have been to.
PSB&T: Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
CB: My co-workers say I hear everything.
PSB&T: How do you feel your role here at Prairie State Bank & Trust will allow you more opportunities to give back to the community?
CB: My new role will allow me opportunities to reach customers inside and outside of the branch. It will also allow me more time to volunteer with local non-profits that I was unable to give time to previously.
PSB&T: What's your favorite thing to do on the weekends? CB: It really depends on the season, but I spend most of my time with my family cooking & relaxing on the weekends. It has been an adventure navigating life with our new baby, which takes up most of our time.
PSB&T: What are you most excited about for your new role here on the team?
CB: My role will allow me to assist individuals in reaching their financial & home ownership goals. There is no greater reward than helping people with their goals.
We are truly excited for Christina in her new role with our Mortgage team. Please help us in congratulating Christina!
