Our PSB&T family is growing, and we couldn’t be happier! It is our pleasure to introduce the Prairie State Bank & Trust community to Tim Woodward, Bloomington/Normal’s new Vice President and Regional Commercial Lender. Tim’s likability and focus on his clients are easily recognizable when you meet him, but we thought we’d give you some further insight into this new addition to our team!
PSB&T: How would your spouse/friends/family describe you?
TW: They would describe me as someone who loves to have a good time, outgoing, always up for a challenge, and enjoys sharing laughter and jokes with those around me.
PSB&T: What made you choose to join the Prairie State Bank & Trust team?
TW: I was drawn to Prairie because of its shared values and mission, which resonated with my own beliefs about banking. The emphasis on building lasting relationships and being a trusted partner to customers aligned perfectly with what I value with my work.
PSB&T: What's something you find challenging about working in banking/lending?
TW: One of the most challenging aspects is navigating the intricacies of the loan process, especially when coordinating with various parties involved. Ensuring everyone is on the same page and moving in the right direction can be a delicate balancing act.
PSB&T: What motivates you at work?
TW: I find great motivation in building meaningful relationships with clients and being a reliable resource for their financial needs. Being able to make a positive impact on their lives and businesses is incredibly fulfilling.
PSB&T: What's one thing you are really bad at?
TW: My wife can probably provide better answers to this than I can, but I am sure one is resisting my three-year-old daughter's request to get ice cream.
