We love getting to know our employees better and we love giving our customers the opportunity to do so as well. Recently, we caught up with Commercial Relationship Manager and Mortgage Lender Chesleigh  Schreves to pick her brain on her role with us and what makes her a unique member of the Prairie State Bank & Trust Family.

When asked what made her decide to choose to pursue her role with her team. Chesleigh replied, “When I started with PSBT in 2019 as a Customer Service Representative, I was in my last year of college. After graduation there was an opportunity to pursue a role in lending, so I was of course excited to see what I could do to help grow that bank’s presence in the Bloomington-Normal area.”

Chesleigh went on to expand upon her enthusiasm for helping her clients saying,  I’m in a position to continue building new relationships here, while helping people accomplish their dreams ,whether it’s their first home, their dream home, or simply an investment property.”

It’s Schreves’ commitment to helping family and community that makes her story so interesting. “Growing up in the small time of Leroy, I was taught the importance of helping others and giving back.” She went on to say, “ I strongly feel PSB&T embodies those same values allows me to give back to my community and surrounding communities in various ways.”

When Chesleigh isn’t giving back, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, a 2 and 1/2 year-old Bernedoodle and a 6 month old goldendoodle.
